Frameless motors and stepper motors each have their unique features and advantages, but in the application of robot joints, e.g. robot arm joint, frameless motors often provide several key benefits:

  1. Higher torque density: Frameless motors can deliver higher torque within a smaller volume, which is especially important for space-constrained.
